There’s only one spaceship earth, and your mission as a player and participant is to save it. That’s the goal and mandate of Earthshot™, a non-profit which was founded to inspire people to take an active role in combatting climate change through video games and compelling immersive experiences offering a powerful, positive, cleantech message.
Because almost half the country doesn’t believe that climate change will impact them, Earthshot will offer an online video gaming platform that has a uniquely effective messaging platform: clean technology is innovative and exciting. Evoking a level of excitement akin to humankind’s race to the moon, a new generation of dreamers, inventors, are subtly recruited to help save spaceship Earth.

Eco-Inspire: Digital Marketing Strategy for Climate Action
Earthshot is a nonprofit elevating the visibility of cleantech to inspire young people to support sustainability and climate action We are doing this through video gaming and economics. We have released our first Fortnite island the first 3 chapters of our comic series. We are looking for a social media strategy that can help drive new players to the Fortnite islands and increase readership of the comic – Supercharged! We are also looking for content that we can use both in social media – but also in a modular interactive high school program we are developing to accompany Supercharged. With a focus on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube the main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following: What are the best ways to use social media to increase our visibility? How can we use the various platforms to increase engagement? How can be make best use of the changing algorithms of the platforms to increase followers? What type of content is the best to utilize for the different platforms? Students will analyze current digital marketing trends, identify target audiences, and develop a comprehensive strategy that aligns with Earthshot's mission. The project will involve researching effective messaging techniques, selecting appropriate digital channels, and creating engaging content that resonates with the audience. The goal is to craft a strategy that not only informs but also inspires individuals to take meaningful action in their daily lives to combat climate change.
Electrifying Education: High School Curriculum on Electric Vehicles
Earthshot is a non-profit elevating the visibility of cleantech to encouarge climate action through video games, comics and storytelling. We are seeking to develop an engaging 50-minute class or assembly curriculum for high school students, designed to complement their comic series, Supercharged!. The goal is to educate students about electric vehicles (EVs), their benefits, and their role in sustainable transportation. We will be creating a series of short interactive/immersive videos and seek help in developing the specific narrative. The project aims to create an interactive and informative session that captures the interest of young learners and encourages them to think critically about the future of transportation. The curriculum should include a mix of multimedia elements, discussion prompts, and hands-on activities that align with the themes presented in the Supercharged! comic series. By integrating classroom knowledge with real-world applications, this project will help students understand the importance of EVs in reducing carbon emissions and promoting environmental sustainability.
Creating a digital marketing strategy to help us inspire climate action
Earthshot is a nonprofit working to inspire climate action by presenting a positive cleantech vision of the future through gaming and experiences. We want students to help us develop a digital marketing strategy that will grow our visibility and thereby help us with fundraising. We need increased visibility to attract sponsors. The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following: What are the best ways to use social media to increase our visibility? What social media channels should we utilize? As a non-profit we get some free advertising on google and instragram - how best can we use that? Too gain followers - what is the most compelling messaging?
