Earthshot is a nonprofit working to inspire climate action by presenting a positive cleantech vision of the future through gaming and experiences. We want students to help us develop a digital marketing strategy that will grow our visibility and thereby help us with fundraising. We need increased visibility to attract sponsors.

The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following:

  • What are the best ways to use social media to increase our visibility?
  • What social media channels should we utilize?
  • As a non-profit we get some free advertising on google and instragram - how best can we use that?
  • Too gain followers - what is the most compelling messaging?
Deliverables

Deliverables can be in various forms, and can be developed on a case-by-case basis. It could be in the form of a strategy document and presentation, with interim deliverables being specific strategies for which platforms, how to use advertising and messaging content. We hope to have regular interactions so we can implement some solutions with students during the process

Mentorship

Students will work closely with Earthshot's President to create and implement the strategy. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary. Studetst will also have access to a social media accelerator program that includes videos and tutorials for developing strategies for non-profits.
