I am a second-year Civil Engineering student at the University of Calgary. I am passionate about leveraging my technical skills and creativity to design innovative, sustainable, and practical solutions for real-world infrastructure challenges. With hands-on experience in structural modeling, project management, and collaborative problem-solving, I strive to contribute meaningfully to the field of civil engineering.
As a member of the UofC Steel Bridge team, I’ve worked on developing 2D and 3D structural models, optimizing designs, and ensuring the accuracy of technical drawings for competition deliverables. I also played a key role in completing the drafting phase under tight deadlines, ensuring our designs were ready for fabrication. Additionally, through my role as Academic Commissioner for the Civil Engineering Undergraduate Society, I have advocated for students’ academic interests, organized AutoCAD workshops, and presented data-driven feedback to faculty to improve curriculum delivery.
Beyond academics, I enjoy reading historical fiction, crocheting, and spending time with my 2-year-old niece and 9-month-old nephew. I’m always eager to expand my knowledge, connect with like-minded professionals, and contribute to impactful projects in transportation, infrastructure, and sustainable development.
