I love people development, and have been working in L&D for over 12 years, including learning design, facilitation, project management and evaluation for local and global organizations, colleges and universities, in both Canada and more recently the UAE.
My experience includes working with internal/external clients, including developing content, facilitating professional and leadership development programs, teaching at the college level, managing projects nationally, and managing partner/client relationships. While working full time, I have also worked as a part-time Professor of Training & Development.
Supporting women at work is my passion, and so I have been fortunate to lead research and also work with organizations to do so.
In every role, design, delivery and people development are always priority.

Leadership Development Consultant
Knowledge Group LLC
July 2016 - Current
In July 2016 I moved to Abu Dhabi to work as a Leadership Development Consultant at Abu Dhabi University Knowledge Group (Knowledge Group).
In this role, I work with organizations in the GCC to design and deliver leadership development programs aimed at helping leaders, managers and high-potentials develop in their professional and leadership capacity.
I am fortunate to learn from the experience of participants, their learning preferences and their different organizations.
In addition to my day-to-day role, I have the opportunity to work on impactful people development projects including women in leadership, employee engagement and professional development.
The most impactful of these is research that I have been leading on Women in Leadership in GCC countries. After analyzing primary data, and drawing conclusions, I presented the findings to over 300 senior leaders (male and female) in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, and Oman and continue to spread the research in the region.
