PHXMF was searching for direction to assist with its rollout and implementation. A unique project, PHXMF is filled with processes and inclusive but separated industries making defining a centered approach difficult. University Canada West team did a deep dive into our focus and purpose and was able to recommend an approach over a 10-year period that made implementation feasible. Working with the team was a whirlwind of information exchange and they were able to sort through the data, documents, and deck to better understand the PHXMF Objective and define a roadmap for the project launch and engagement over the years which helped the project's scaleable approach both doable but sustainable. The team was pleasant to work with and enjoyable to communicate with as we tackled the nuances of building an experience that was both unique and challenging. I was especially impressed with the level of knowledge the team had and the use of popular business tools to build their recommendation off of. Initially these tools had not been considered and proved invaluable to defining the level of work to be accomplished to me our goals. I highly recommend the use of University Canada West for defining innovative solutions and determining a positive and sustainable approach for defining your business and developing a realistic approach to implementation.

This was an absolute disaster on many levels, most notably the lack of organization, responsiveness, and management of the professors. We tailored a program for four different groups of students. Three of the four were disbanded due to work behaviors, with one remaining, which did good work but had communication and responsiveness issues. Of three times working with this university, two were horrible, this being one of them. The only reason one was good was because the professor who had given us the first horrible group, knew our standards and gave us a pair of good students. Despite the one good experience, we will never accept a match from this university again.

Working with Edgar was amazing, he was always punctual and prepared for every meeting. This made it easy to communicate our desires for the project and he was a very good listener. He really took the time to understand our needs, being a start up with a brand new product that we patent it was hard to find comparables. Edgar looked outside the box to work with us and do survey's as well as looked into potential areas of sales we did not think of. His final submission really gave us insight into our weakness which we agreed and are currently working on solving. Knowing that Edgar had support from his instructor and they also spoke of strategies was rewarding to know. The time and effort put into the project really shows when the final submission was made.

An absolute pleasure to work with. Remi (The student the professor aligned me with) is dedicated, creative and highly skilled.

Amir was involved just the right amount and helped to make sure the team was on the right track.

First efforts to support the project and understand the skills required has been wonderful and light. As we are in the early stages of scope development with the chosen participant we believe Amir has done a great job identifying the needs of the project. We look forward to SOW development and project gate success.

It was a pleasure to collaborate with the educators and team at University Canada West on our AWEC Technology project. While we couldn’t find the ideal student match this term, we greatly appreciate the thoughtful consideration given to our project. We’re excited about the potential to revisit this collaboration in the Spring and look forward to working together for even greater impact.

Amir was amazing wow thank you so much. This is my first experience and he was so helpful and thoughtful and clearly cares for his students.! I do hope I gave the right critical feedback on all levels and honestly the only thing I felt Was short on was critical thinking. From the students perspective, this is something that can be worked upon and rectified, so I was not reluctant to share this! Again, I’d like to add that Amir is an incredible mentor, compassionate and kind to his students, and clearly cares about their futures. I’m not adding private feedback because it’s not necessary. I believe in transparency because it’s the only way for all of us to learn!
