Mobile & Web App for IOS / Android: Computer Science
Our organization is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for (3) computer science students or teams. Hello! MusicalMoon is looking for some computer science expertise from students to participate in a cool / unique project building an app for IOS and Android, where it will sync up with the web application for desktop users. You can see some music content on YouTube.com/musicalmoon The primary focus for the student will be: The main coding languages will likely be React, Java, CSS, and HTML, although if you would like to include other languages like python or something else to ease the process, then by all means! As I assume you will know more than me in these regards. We will guide you with the ideas we have in mind so that you can bring it to life with your coding knowledge. Website Development - Conducting a needs analysis to determine which platform is most suitable for our website; creating a design proposal including mock-ups, and timeline; building a fully-functioning website for our organization. Application Development - Selecting the best technologies for creating the application or feature (i.e. a real-time chat function); creating a fully-functioning application for IOS & Android to correspond with the website while referencing a blueprint / guide on what we have in mind. Simplify the backend of the app for someone with minimal coding to be able to utilize and understand Real-Time Data Visualization - Creating a charting system with basic querying functionality; creating a dashboard to visualize key performance metrics of our organization or tool. Python may be useful here. Open Source Software Management - Researching potential open source tools for our organization’s use; contributing to open source projects through bug fixing or feature implementation. Our goal at the end of this experience is: to have full functioning IOS, Android, and web applications that correspond with each other. Website Development - For the student(s) to complete a fully functioning website. Application Development - For the student(s) to create a fully functioning IOS / Android application the corresponds with the website. Create the backend for easy management of the app. Real-Time Data Visualization - For the student(s) to help us devise and implement a data visualization system to help our organization derive insights to inform decision-making. Open Source Software Management - For the student(s) to help us develop a set of tools we can implement or utilize if necessary or possible. Other duties the student may complete could include : Software vendor research and evaluation Responding to IT/Service Desk requests We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern using these communication tools: Riipen / Discord / Telegram Student's primary contact : (Brendon, employer)

Website-React Developers; Full-Stack: Online Shop(1/3 phase project).
PROJECT SCOPE Please note; This project will be broken into 3 phases and done in collaboration with our in-house developers. Our organization is able to offer a virtual opportunity for student to help us with Full-Stack development; React. React Development: We would like to collaborate with students who are able to convert an HTML shop template into React. Both front and back-end development as well as full-stack developers are desired. We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern(s) using these communication tools: (eg. Riipen messaging, zoom, email, slack) Best regards, Team, Carnival Guide Inc.

Design UI/UX
We are looking for a student to help us refine the design of a new solution our company is considering launching. A first version of the solution is already developed and is currently being tested. Key responsibilities of the intern will include: Communicate with project manager to understand the business objectives and the user requirements. Identify design problems and suggest elegant solutions. Design new screens for both mobile and desktop devices. Ability to develop the front end of designs is a plus.

Coding and Robotics Curriculum for Rili Budding Scientists' Lab
The main goal of this project is to create a complete course curriculum on Coding and Robotics subjects for grade 3 to grade 8 students. The curriculum should include approximately 50 hands-on experiments across all grades up to grade 8 with Aim and Objective, Precautions, Materials required, Procedure, Observation, Interpretation when possible.

Security & Penetration Testing of Website, database system and other IT
A standard practice for web-based tools is to conduct what is known as penetration tests at least once a year. This is a white-hat hacking approach in which a firm is given special permission to try and break into, exploit, or otherwise attempt to break a given product via security vulnerabilities. First, we would like students to get familiar with our product including website and database. Sign up, play around with it, understand generally how it works. Second, students should spend time conducting research on state of the art pen testing technologies. They should look into common vulnerability lists such as OWASP Top 10, and common security tools such as Nmap, Burp Suitar, Nessus, and Wireshark. Third, students should have a written attack plan and present it to us so we can confirm we understand what the test will do and what might be uncovered. Fourth, students are free to attack our product as per the presented plan

Software Testing & Development (SatSav)
What is the main goal for this project? SatSav helps grocery shoppers save money on grocery expenses. We use a React Native app with ExpoGo to connect with our customers and we want to test and implement fixes for the app and API. The API is based on tRPC and Node.js. We would like to collaborate with students to identify and address bugs in our existing app and API, ensuring a smoother user experience. This project aims to enhance the stability, performance, and functionality of our expoGO app and tRPC API. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with our React Native app, built with ExpoGo, and our API based on tRPC and Node.js. Identifying and understanding existing features and bugs in both the app and API. Documenting and implementing fixes for identified issues. What tasks will students need to complete to achieve the project goal? By the end of the project: Identify bugs and logical issues in the app and API. Successful implementation of fixes for identified issues. Recommendations for improvements to enhance overall performance and user experience. Bonus steps would include: Thorough testing of the app after fixes are implemented. Final deliverables should include: A documentation of identified issues, and implemented fixes. A better optimized and bug-free app and API. How will you support students in completing the project? Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions related to: Our React Native app with ExpoGo and the tRPC-based Node.js API. Input on choices, problems, or anything else the students might encounter during the testing and fixing process. Overall mentorship and guidance from industry experts. What skills or technologies will help students to complete the project? In order to complete this project, students can self-teach, but it is beneficial to be familiar with: React Native app development with ExpoGo. tRPC and Node.js for API development. Nice to haves for students include: Notion (used for documentation)

Cybersecurity Enhancement Initiative
TGT is a Systems Integrator that provides cybersecurity related services to clients. The primary objective of this project is to plan, develop, implement, monitor and enhance security measures to safeguard our clients against cyber threats. This includes evaluating the current cybersecurity landscape for clients, identifying vulnerabilities, recommending improvements to ensure those clients remain protected from evolving risks and potential attacks and assisting with the implementation
