Work experience
Intern
ChmlTech Ltd.
Toronto, Ontario, Canada
November 2024 - December 2024
At ChmlTech Ltd., I worked on building a predictive machine learning model to improve stock price forecasting. I used Facebook Prophet for time-series analysis and combined it with real-time news sentiment so the predictions reflected both historical patterns and current events. A big part of the project was preparing and cleaning the data β engineering features and making sure the inputs were high quality. I collaborated with the team to deploy the model into a working pipeline, so the forecasts were not just theoretical but could actually guide investment decisions with data-backed insights.
Intern
Cofi Life
Toronto, Ontario, Canada
October 2024 - November 2024
At CofiLife, I built a Python-based pipeline that automatically pulled in and combined stock and cryptocurrency data. Once the data was flowing, I applied advanced technical analysis methods like EMA (Exponential Moving Average), RSI (Relative Strength Index), and MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) to spot trading patterns. To make the insights more actionable, I created dynamic charts that updated in real time and set up automated email alerts so signals could be acted on right away. The goal was to give decision-makers clear, data-driven trading insights without having to manually track everything.

March Machine Learning Mania (Kaggle)
February 2025 - April 2025
https://www.kaggle.com/competitions/march-machine-learning-mania-2025/leaderboard?search=anmolFor this competition, I designed a forecasting pipeline to predict the outcomes of every possible NCAA basketball matchup. I engineered detailed per-possession stats, rolled season-to-date Elo ratings, and stacked gradient-boosted trees with logistic regression to reduce prediction error. The result was a system that combined statistical rigor with machine learning to generate more reliable bracket forecasts.
