Students participating in this experiential learning opportunity bring specialized skills in one of three core business areas: General Business Strategy, Human Resources, or Finance. Depending on the project focus area, students aim to apply their classroom knowledge to real-world challenges while developing practical consulting experience. Core Capabilities by Focus Area: General Business Strategy: Strong foundation in project planning, research methods, and strategic thinking with expertise in supply chain management, sustainable entrepreneurship, business model innovation, and competitive analysis Human Resources: Proficiency in stakeholder management, organizational culture analysis, HR consulting, and workforce development strategies, with ability to evaluate and improve HR functions through research-backed recommendations Finance/Managerial Accounting: Expertise in budgeting and control processes, cost analysis methods, financial decision support tools, capital investment decisions, and pricing strategies All students possess critical thinking, problem-solving, and data analysis abilities that enable them to address complex business scenarios and provide actionable recommendations tailored to each organization's unique challenges.
Data Mining, Analytics and Visualization

Branding and Advertising Innovation Lab
MKTG 4504
Focuses on developing a creative advertising strategy and brand plan that aligns with a company’s overall marketing objectives. Topics include the business of brands, marketing strategy, ethical and legal considerations in advertising, advertising strategy development, media planning and buying, creative development and testing, identifying and measuring success on key performance indicators, historical foundations of advertising, and what’s next in the industry. Students apply course concepts to develop a creative advertising strategy to address campaign objectives.
