Riverbend ROCKS is a community-based non-profit that provides wrap-around support to low-income families in the Riverbend area of Edmonton and beyond. Programming is free and includes:

  • After-school care,
  • Immigration services,
  • Medical support,
  • Physical activity programming,
  • Community gardens and markets,
  • Community events and gatherings.


Riverbend Rocks is growing from mostly part-time to three full-time positions (program coordinators) and we are increasing the number of part-time employees. We are currently working on updating our strategic plan and developing a growth strategy that involves understanding the HR needs as we plan to expand and formalize administrative and support roles.


Deliverables

Expected deliverables include:

  • A detailed report outlining research, analysis, insights and recommendations.
  • A 10-15 minute presentation highlighting the findings and strategies from the report.
