Requirements

Starting this September, students in groups of 4, will spend 80 hours per team preparing a marketing plan for a new or existing product or service your organization offers.


Based on the information you provide and your unique goals and constraints, students will research and construct a plan that will help you achieve success in your marketing efforts.


The marketing plan will include:

  • A situational assessment
  • A competitive overview
  • A detailed price, promotion, place, and product review
  • An implementation plan.

To accomplish this work, student task will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Conducting an initial meeting with your organization to determine the issues and objectives for the marketing plan.
  2. Working as a group to develop a marketing plan for your organization.
  3. Presenting the final marketing report to your organization.
